Neighborhood Watch Discussion – September 6th @ 7PM

The Susitna Community Council has recently been awarded a share of a $50,000.00 grant extension from the Community Assistance Program (formerly, Community Revenue Sharing Program (CRSP)) for the purpose of furthering Neighborhood Watch programs.

The grant money has been offered to all community councils in the Matsu Borough, so depending on how many community councils apply will depend on how much money we receive.

The purpose of the funds is to assist current or help develop new Neighborhood Watch programs in the Susitna Community Council Area.

The funds can be spent on things such as:

  • Training
  • Signage
  • Trail Cams
  • Fuel for community patrols
  • Etc., etc.

If you are a resident of the Susitna Community Council area (formerly, Y Community Council) and would like to be involved with a Neighborhood Watch program, please join us.  If you are not a member of our council area, please check with your local community council to see if there are any Neighborhood Watch programs in your area.

Date: September 6, 2018
